Neil’s contribution to Mercury was in the designing of the initial layout out of the interface, Animation of prototype and the design of pilot. The design Neil took was to create an interface that felt secure when people logged while also providing relevant information. The team believed that information would be most important part of the UI design. The next step done was to create the animation and prototype of the application. Once done, the team would be able to get better user testing. After laying out the frame work of the information and initial design that would be presented, Neil could then pass of the design for the other team members to be finalized. Neil then started working on the pilot of Mercury, design the advertisement of the application and creating fliers to gather interest for the app.
